“This project was a major milestone for our artisans and engineers, as we were tasked for the first time with integrating complex large-scale high-relief ceramic panels adorned with delicate gold leaf. To achieve the exceptional color depth and flawless purity of the porcelain body, each element underwent a demanding multi-stage triple-firing process in our kilns. We paid meticulous attention to expansion joints and fitting precision: every single block was hand-carved and dry-fitted with millimeter precision. This rigorous process allowed us to achieve a seamless visual flow once the iconostasis was installed within the complex semi-circular apse.”
