A majestic, monumental porcelain iconostasis designed and crafted for the Holy Intercession Church in Orlivshchyna. Standing at an impressive 16 meters in length and 8.5 meters in height, this sacred masterpiece is one of the largest solid ceramic church structures in Ukraine. The design centers around an exquisite contrast between mirror-smooth white glaze and filigree gold ornamentation. The traditional floral reliefs recreated in porcelain symbolize the Garden of Eden, while the purity of the white material represents the light of Divine grace. The unique play of natural and liturgical light on the glazed surfaces gives the massive structure a surprisingly light, ethereal quality that elevates the entire sanctuary.

“The scale of the Holy Intercession Church iconostasis marked a milestone in ceramic engineering for our studio. The primary engineering challenge lay in the precise alignment and mounting of the corner structural components and heavy upper-tier elements. We developed a custom modular mounting system that flawlessly integrated with the temple's structural geometry without putting undue stress on the bearing walls. Our proprietary formula for the high-temperature white glaze yielded a flawless reflective surface, and the triple-firing process for each module guarantees that the structure will withstand indoor temperature and humidity fluctuations for centuries to come.”
